Andrew Gilhespy, an artisan food producer based in South Devon approached me to develop his brand & packaging for his business, the Fresh Flour Company.
Andrew began growing a few acres of Einkorn and Emmer wheat, milling by hand. The flour sold by word of mouth, and repeat orders soon had the mill grinding around the clock – all without a single advertisement. He then decided to try and make pasta that matched the quality of the flour. When he cracked the process of producing bronze-cut, air-dried pasta, he knew he had a product to rival his favourite Italian brands.
With orders for pasta already rolling in, including an approach by Fortnum and Mason, suppliers big and small have been fighting to stock the brand.
